How to get to IVM
Coming from Cologne, Bonn, Dusseldorf
- Take motorway A 3 in direction OBERHAUSEN, change to A 52 in direction Essen at motorway junction (Autobahnkreuz) "Breitscheid" (No. 16)
- take exit "Essen-Rüttenscheid" (No. 28) in direction Stadtmitte (city centre)
- and follow B 224 in direction Gladbeck / Dorsten
or
- From motorway A 3, change to A 42 at motorway junction "Duisburg / Oberhausen" (No. 12)
- follow A 42 until exit "Essen-Nord" (No. 13)
- then follow B224 in direction Stadtmitte (city centre)
Coming from Frankfurt
- Take motorway A 45 in direction Dortmund change to A 44 at motorway junction (Autobahnkreuz) "Dortmund / Witten" (No. 7) in direction Bochum until you reach
- motorway junction "Kreuz Bochum / Witten" (junction No. 42) change to
- A 43 in direction Münster until you reach motorway junction "Kreuz Herne" (No. 14) change to
- A 42 in direction Duisburg until you reach motorway junction "Kreuz Essen-Nord" (No. 13)
- then follow B 224 in direction Essen Stadtmitte
Coming from Gelsenkirchen, Herne
- Take motorway A 42 in direction Duisburg until you reach exit "Kreuz Essen-Nord" (No. 13)
- then follow B 224 in direction Essen Stadtmitte (Essen centre)
The IVM headquarters is located in Essen "Service Park", in the part of town called Altenessen and can easily be reached from all directions. From Gladbeck, A 42, you follow the Gladbeckerstraße (B224) in direction Essen Stadtmitte / City Centre. The Service Park is located on the right side, the entrance is between numbers 427 and 431. Coming from Essen Stadtmitte you have to follow the B 224 until Vogelheimer Straße. Here a u-turn is necessary, after app. 100m there is the entrance to the IVM premises between numbers 427 and 431. The main entrance is on the back of the building. There is place to park your vehicle directly in front of the main entry. We wish you a safe & good journey!
